BEN AFFLECK IS THE FUCKING BATMAN!

It has been confirmed by both the Hollywood Reporter & Variety that Oscar Winning Actor Ben Affleck will join Actor Henry Cavill in Warner Bros. planned 2015 Man of Steel sequel as the New Batman.
Much like the Man of Steel movie, this casting has become controversial with people supporting it or just hating it all over the Internet.

Speculation started at this Summers San Diego Comic Con when Man of Steel director Zack Synder teased everyone when he showed up with actor Harry Lennix, who read just one passage.

~ "I want you to remember Clark. In all the years to come, in all your most private moments, I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you".

For those who recognised it admittedly started to talk, for it was from Frank Miller's classic 1986 graphic novel The Dark Knight Returns.

Then the Whole Room Went Ape Shit when the screen behind them flash the now familiar logo. With just that one reveal, DC Comics & Warner Bros. stole the Whole Fucking show at Comic Con.

People where now talking about Who will be Batman? Rumours of Warner Bros. offering actor Christian Bale a huge amount of money to return as the Cape Crusader. Names like Josh Brolin, Joe Manganiello, Ryan Gosling, Richard Armitage, Max Martini, & Matthew Goode were reported to be on Warner Bros. "shortlist". Ideas of casting a much older actor to play Batman, around 40 were coming out Warner Bros., matching more the Frank Miller feel for the superhero.

Even though Affleck's name wasn't in the mix original, rumours were about that Warner Bros. did have talks about him directing a Justice League movie. Could the seeds have been planted then for him to done the cowl?

Affleck is no strange to comic book movies. He has had a long term friendship with writer-director Kevin Smith, who is a Fanboy favourite, working in such  films as Mallrats, Dogma, & Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, all had some comic book elements in it.

He starred in 2003's Daredevil movie, which got mixed reviews by fanboys. But do yourself a favour a watch the "Director's Cut" version, it's a much better movie and could be a glimpse on how Affleck could played the role.

He also appeared on screen as Superman. Well OK, he played George Reeves, the actor who played Superman in the 1950s, in 2006 Crime / Bio-pic Hollywoodland.

Warner Bros. president of Creative development & Worldwide production Greg Silverman was quote saying ~ "We knew we needed an extraordinary actor to take on one of DC Comics' most enduringly popular superheroes. & Ben Affleck certainly fits that bill, & then some. His outstanding career is a testament to his talent, & we know he & Zack will bring new dimension to the duality of this character".

Director Zack Synder added ~ "Ben provides an interesting counterbalance to Herny's Superman. He has the acting chops to create a layered portrayal of a man who is older & wiser than Clark Kent & bears the scars of a seasoned crimefighter, but retain the charm that the world sees in billionaire Bruce Wayne. I can't wait to work with him".

Details of Affleck's deal are not know at present, but I speculate that it's a multi-picture deal worth millions, as Affleck's next movie, Live By Night will also be released by Warner Bros.

The Script for the Untitled Superhero film will once again be written by David S. Goyer & Zack Synder with production starting in 2014 with a July 17, 2015 release date set. So starts the countdown.

Mother Russia is Kick-Ass

Like Most Comic Book Fans, I Love to go see a Movie based on a Comic Book That I Love.
Was a Big fans of the original Kick-Ass comic book mini-series by writer Mark Miller & Artist John Romita, Jr., as well as the 2010 movie adaptation. I just couldn't wait to see the sequel on August 13, 2013.
Unlike the 1st film, original director Matthew Vaugh only took a co-producer role this time with Jeff Wadlow tap not only to direct but write as well.

The cast was great, with returning actors Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Kick-Ass,

Chole Grace Moretz as Hit Girl,

& Christopher "McLovin" Mintz-Plasse taking on the evil villain role of the Motherfucker, who starts to gather a team of Supervillains to destroy Kick-Ass & the many new Superheroes he's insipered such as

Colonel Stars & Stripes, played wonderfully by Jim Carrey,

the sexy Night Bitch portrayed by actress Lindy Booth.

But it's the casting of the Motherfucker's chief henchwoman, the muscular Mother Russia that I was curious about.

Who could they get to play This Russian Powerhouse?

Real life Russian bodybuilder Olga Kurkulina was chosen & she did not disappoint.

The Climatic end fight scene between Mother Russia & Hit Girl was TOTAL KICK-ASS!

Another Bonus to Comic Book Fanboys is that besides bodybuilding she was a model too!
What Kind of Model you ask? My favourite kind that's what. So Here are some sexy pics of the lovely Olga in her muscular glory to fantasize too.

Enjoy :)
